Who are we?

We are a community choir with well over 100 singers, who come from Groby and beyond to sing together.

 

Where do we meet?

All rehearsals are held at The Groby Club on Wednesdays.

The adult choir has the option of two practices:

Afternoon Choir is from 1.30pm to 3pm (creche area available for preschool children).

Evening Choir is from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.

The Youth and Children's Choir (7yrs and over) is from 3.40pm to 4.40pm.
 

What do we do?

We sing, eat cake, make friends and have a lot of fun!

We stage two performance weekends each year, singing a variety of songs mostly from musicals, films and the charts. Practices are scheduled in the months leading up to each performance weekend with a break in the middle of each rehearsal to get to know each other, have a drink and eat cake! Singers are welcome to join the rehearsals without committing to performing - it's fun to be in the audience too.
 

Who can join?

You will be welcomed whatever your singing experience and ability. No auditions! You don't need to come every week although once you sing with us you won't want to miss a single Wednesday.
